Notes on the game:
Traditional and modern elements make up the design of the building game.
The idea is to bring building blocks made of wood and stone together into play.
Both go back to the tradition of Friedrich Froebel, the founder of the kindergarten.
The amount of wooden blocks is calculated so that you can build one after the other with the complete contents of the Froebel gifts 3, 4, 5, 6 and 5B according to Goldammer. In addition, 8 cubes from Gabe 3 and 8 cuboids from Gabe 4 made of stone are included.
Basic dimension 25 mm.
During the game, the same and different properties of the materials wood and stone are explored.
Both materials have in common that they come from natural sources.
Their tradition goes back to the 19th century.
But there are also differences to be explored, e.g. E.g. appearance, weight, surface, smell, temperature, behavior during construction …

Phenomenal visual stimuli come from experimenting with mirrors.
